Straight Sliding door

Panels
Panels are built up from smaller modular panels of 1500mm nominal width. The modular panel system ensures easy handing during delivery and site installation. Each modular panel is constructed from a mild steel RHS frame covered both sides with a 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet. Modular panels are assembled to from the complete door panel by means of bolted rebate joints along the full height of the panels. In addition mild steel angles are added along the top and bottom of the complete panel to increase rigidity.

Slam Post
Constructed from a mild steel rolled channel welded to a mild steel angle. The mild steel fixing angle incorporates factory machined slots in order to allow for necessary expansion.

Jamb and Soffit Angles
Formed from press braked 3mm thick mild steel and machine punched with slotted holes for fixings. They provide effective seal between the door panels and opening structure to both the jamb and soffit.

Top Track Assembly
The top track assembly allows provides both suspension to of the door panel and allows the panel to travel in both directions along the length of the track. The track is formed from a cold rolled galvanised strip rolled into a lipped channel section. This ensures the smooth running of the top track ball bearings hangers. The “seal for life” lubricated steel ball bearings hangers are fixed to the door panel via an adjustable bracket to allow on site adjustment and expansion.
The top track assembly is provided with mild steel angle brackets in order to mount and support the assembly from the lintel of the structural opening.Bottom Guide RollerMild Steel ball race roller mounted on a single bright steel shaft with base plate bracket. When secured to the floor the guide roller prevents the panel swinging clear of the structural opening.

Bottom Guide Track
An alternative to the bottom guide roller. The bottom track provides a groove to the guide at the bottom of the door panel. Formed from a heavy gauge galvanised steel strip to form a multi-profile channel section, when set into the concrete the profile section is encased to ensure optimum strength.

Non-Galvanised parts one coat rust inhibiting primer paint

Manual Operation
The door panel is fitted with recess pull handles in order to manually open and close the door. A fusible link in conjunction with a drop weight system ensures the door is closed in the event of a fire.

Electric Operation
Fitted with a 3 Phase 415V motor, drive system and control buttons the door can be opened and closed under power.
Connected to an alarm system, and assured power supply by others the door may be power closed in event of fire.

Pass Door
Pass door fitted into main door panel to provide entrance/exit without opening the main door.
Pass door can provide with ¼ pair of heavy duty hinges latch and lever as standard nominal size 900x2000.Track Canopy2-sided none-fire rated aesthetic galvanised steel 20swg cover top track and angle fixing brackets.
