Northern Doors (U.K.) Ltd. are delighted to confirm the award of another major door contract. This is to supply and install Compact Doors and Steel Hinged Door Sets .

The Catterick Garrison is already the largest such establishment in the whole of Europe, but recently £1Billion government funds will transform it into a “Super Garrison”, which will be one of the bigger of its kind in the world.

The main contractor is Carillion PLC who awarded Northern Doors  this prestigious demanding project as it has worked with us successfully on numerous other projects.

The compact doors, which are a substantial amount of our project will be installed to the new Workshop facilities currently built. Work on the Megiddo and Gaza barracks will also include new technical facilities, squadron hangars, garaging, stores along with new regiment and battalion headquarters.

One of the key issues at Catterick was the emphasis on sustainable design and energy conservation which includes sophisticated electronic control of building systems. The Compact Door was specified due to its high insulation and sealing qualities, as well as its compact footprint when in the open position.
