Hong Kong Exhibition Centre

Hong Kong Central Exhibition Centre Asia's first fully integrated purpose built exhibition facility, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), owned by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, creates a new architectural landmark in Hong Kong's harbour. We at Northern Doors (UK) Ltd are very proud to be associated with this development. The HKCEC is a sophisticated state-of-the-art facility incorporating ultra-modern technology, positioned in the city's business hub, the Wanchai Waterfront.

Both our "Wayfinder " and "Flush Steel Sliding Doors" both capable of providing 4 hours fire resistance, have been manufactured and supplied by Northern Doors (UK) Ltd for this development, our doors have been specially designed in order to provide and maintain the fire integrity within the building. A total of 11 no electrically operated flush steel sliding doors and an electrically operated Wayfinder have been provided. Sizes of the doors ranging from 6000mm x 5 000mm and 30 000mm x 7 000 respectfully. Manufacture, delivery and installation of all the doors has been achieved, in accordance with the contract programme, in order to meet the completion date of summer 1997.
