The project was to refurbish an existing retail outel to a new Hugo Boss store.

Northern Doors services were employed to provide fire compartmantation between the shop floor & stairwell.

The project brief was to supply a fire resistant shutter to LPC BS 476, PT22 : l987 and to close upon the receipt of the fire alarm signal. The shutter is to fit within a limited head room and have the ability to blend into the building fabric hidden from public view.

The suitable sub-contractor must be flexible, work out of normal hours and fast track the shutter to ensure the store opens on schedule.

Our Wayfinder shutter was the ideal solution. With the ability to have virtually any track configuration and only small headroom requirement.

The shutter was delievered and fitted during the night and wired and commissioned the next day. All on schedule for a successful opening of the brand new Hugo Boss store.
