Northern Doors were awarded the contract to supply and install 16 number Electrically Operated Insulated Roller Shutters between the existing / new warehouse extention to at Coca Cola's Edmunton Bottling plant..

The shutters were designed to incoporate Coca Cola's own specification, involved the use of Duplex gearing, special profiling shaped endplates and hood covers with a 15 degree slope to prevent the nesting of birds.

Each shutter is fitted with a safety bottom edge & locking facility of bullet lock pins. The bullet locks are interlocked to prevent operation when the locks are engaged.

Seven single steel doors and three number double hinged doors with various hardware such as vision panels were installed to the plant, switch and sprinkler rooms.

Two of our Safeguard 76 roller shutters and one of our Passeclairs were also installed on this project.
